Yeah, Meh, Nah.
Make faster decisions, better.
Need to make quick team decisions without missing anything important? Play a game of ‘Yeah, Meh, Nah."'
What is it?
Simple tool to narrow down multiple options to focus on the ones that matter most - without missing anything on the way.
Who is it for?
People who need to narrow down a stack of options.
People needing to build consensus around decisions.
How does it work?
If you need to build consensus around a decision or choose the best of various solutions, why not start with your gut?
Our instinctive ‘feel’ about decisions is often more accurate than rational discussion, but not everyone feels the same. And sometimes we jump to the easiest solution rather than the best. Here’s a how to fix that.
Simply line up your options and put them into categories based on gut. They’re either Yeah, Meh, or Nah. If everyone says ‘Yeah’ it’s a yeah. ‘Nah’ is obviously nah. But if some say yeah and others say nah, that option goes into the meh column - and these are the things you explore in detail.
This tool is designed to be fast and ruthless. It saves time talking through the stuff that won’t work. And makes more time to explore harder or scarier thoughts that usually land with a Meh. It might be that your Meh is the best Yeah ever - or maybe it’s a hard Nah.
